Summer has finally arrived to Finland, almost 30 today. Few days have now been nice and it shold continue that way at least for a week or so. My pumpkins was set from 9 of July to...Today. Biggest circ. is 137cm(54inch) that one is 329.5 J.Andrews. Second biggest is 85cm, that one is 548* Duchezeau(turning to pumpkin). Plant is healthy and last 24 hours it gains 10 cm which is my pb. 329.5 is now third place in our national competition and it still looks baby when other growers pumkins are going to be old...I think I might have good cance to win that competition and if weather stays nice couple of more weeks I might break Finnish record which is 77kg(unofficial) It has been great summer for studying this sport, I have learn how to make good crosses etc. I would thank all the geat peole here who have helped me, Thanks Guys!

Little update, biggest now or thurday 200cm, there is now two Ladies here in Finland how have also broken two meters. But hey, I gave seeds to them, so it does not bother me if they grow bigger. First ever Finnish weighoff is going to be 7 of October and it is in my hometown! We are now going to make New national record I believe.

Oy sorry, it is now fifth year for that competition on online and never ever during the history two meters have not been braken before now. We are still about month to go, Weather is getting cold but we will see what happens on October...Myself I feel it is very exiting when few growers are so near each other, you cant tell who will win before the scale.
