I pollinated my 1053 with the 848 but its a yellow green pumpkin so far. Others what colors are yours? My 848 is green but the 1053 is showing longer and yellowish with green stipes....Ill try and post a pic.

Wiz, ditto here. yellow with green stripes. I too pollinated it with the 848. (Copy cat!)

1053 Update.........White very White. Sometimes when I take off the shade cloth I get a hint of green....maybe its my eyes....lol

I grew a 1221.5 pumpkin from my 1053 and Steve Razo grew a 1097 true green squash from the one he had.

I have seeds available from my cross. 1053 Werner X 848 MacKenzie.....email/ bubble me if you would like to see if it goes green or orange. Mine was light orange, cantelouped and quite thick. Seems to have a bunch of the 898 in it.
