I just planted my first seeds of so-called giant pumpkins. I was wondering where I could find a tutorial or any info to steer me in the right direction. Ya know, like fertilizers, how much water needed, what to look for, etc. Any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Just a little more info. I planted my seeds yesterday, March 20th. I live right outside Atlanta, GA and decided to plant direct outside and not an inside transplant since we had our last frost a few weeks back. I put about 6-7 seeds in a mound about 8-10 inches tall and roughly 2 feet long. I used my brother in-law's tiller to chew up the soil in his backyard before I made my mound and planted the seeds. Now I just need a step-by-step list to help my with my first time. Thanks

Well I made my first mistake after I starting doing some research after posting this. That was the seeds. I read it's best to get seeds from a grower/pro and many times they will give you some for free or for a cheap price rather than getting them from a commercial operation like I did. Next year when I have more time I will do that instead.
Where does your neice live? I am in Gwinnett county.
Thanks for the tip about the "how to" location. I will check that out today. This will be my first time growing anything since college. Reason I am doing it at my sisters house is her husband already is growing some other things so can help water and take care of them when I am not around. Thanks again
