Plant is great, pollinations not so much!

1233 hunt started out shooting the creepy multi flower less vigorous side vines, pruned them off and the plant is doing well now with normal secondaries. Got one pollinated so far on the main. Too early to make any predictions.

Lost Lutjen kin, so plant made a counter move and has six pollinated females with a 7th to open tomorrow. LOL.
89' Shymanski pounding out weight now that it finally has a kin!!! I have three on it right now...kinda waiting to see if the DAP 20's stem issue is going to resolve or be a pain and cut it off in favor of a different one.
Bell is doing her thing, plant great, kin growing well. This is a seed year so she is on crap dirt to get the shymanski cross with her I want....damned thing is already over 300 pounds with nothing to eat!

Down to one green-fruited plant in each 615 Cantrell and 717 Holub patch. That was my goal for the season so I'm happy so far. Otherwise too early to tell.

Half way point of the growing season. It won't be long.

bathabitat-what were the numbers on green vs orange with the 615 and 717?

I'm letting patchmaster think he has a chance to beat me. It will be fun to crush his hopes when it is time to hit the scales.

323 LaRiviere is a solid problem free plant. Bigger than ever and just pollinated. Fingers crossed they set, nice long stems.

So far all 3 I pollinated on the 1175 Holub set. The one I'm hoping to keep is 10ft out on the main vine and about the size of a cantaloupe at 12 days old.

615 Cantrell (an AGxSquash F2) theoritically should be 3 orange : 1 green. It was 5 orange : 3 green; which is statistically in line with the theoretical.

717 Holub ((AGxsquash) x squash) theoritically should be 1 orange : 1 green, it was 3 orange : 1 green; which is still statistically in line with the theoretical.

Our 996 sucks this year. Bad fruit shape & stem splits have set us back. Our 3rd squash is now just the size of a volleyball. Hopefully we'll have a good Sept to give it a chance to get a few extra pounds on it. Good luck.

Scott, do you know what the 30 day numbers were on the 1175? Also, I could use an infusion of some darker green on this one, hopefully it will color up a bit more before weighoff.

800lbs on day 43 is very good. Rumour has it there is one slightly bigger here in Europe. The grower won't let me say who he/she is though.

Pingrey's greenie is the real deal. We have had perfect weather this year until the last couple days, but it is back today. The tailor for the green jacket might as well make a trip to Pingrey's house to take his measurements.

My 824 Brunst 05 is doing ok.. 30 day anniversary is tomorrow. The good news is its a nice shade of green so far. My 834.5 Sandercock has its 30 birthday on Thursday. A smaller plant with lots of bite marks.. either a squirrel, ground hog.. or Orange with Envy. That one too has a good shade of green at this stage.

Both the 996 and 1135 are just over 700 pounds, the 996 has been steadily maintainly 24.7 a day and the 1135 is holding at 32.3 a day. 996 is at day 46, 1135 day 41. No complaints about either, been learning a lot. Glad I decided to give them a try this year.

Bum deal Phil and Jane!!

With so many good ones out there this year, maybe we'll finally have one or two break the 1300lb barrier again.
