I am after this seed as I got shut out doing the normal request and trade thing. Let me know if anyone has any to put up for trade. I have a seed or two that are worthy of a trade for one or two.

Pumpkinguru,

As you know there were not enough 834 seeds to go around and I had to turn away far more growers requests than I was able to fill. I gave seeds to the growers (on a first come first serve basis) that committed to growing them their selves someday so I would be rather surprised/disapointed if any were traded.

Ah the genetic toss.... You see Jims 552 was one ugly a$$ squash that carried the mothers shape into it's offsprings for his 2003 Canby victory (703 Smith Cross I believe); alas I was left with a second place beauty prize while Jims monster went 15% heavy!

Still all ugliness aside a very nice true Greenie and a very promising seed stock!

I concur my 962 wasn't the prettiest thing in the world compared to the 834, HOWEVER, It was mean, nasty, and heavy and most of all quite GREEN. Gerry's squash was beautiful and should be a sought after seed also. Stick to your guns Gerry, make them earn their seed. By the way, can I have one? :o)

congradulations JIM on the selection of your 552 for the PGVG TERMINATOR contest OCT23RD. With that many skilled growers planting the same seed!!! we should see huge results?????
