Since I can't find any info about the North Vancouver weight-off.. I assume I have missed it or it's not going to happen... But I still want to get my pumpkin weighed. Does any one know were I can take my pumpkin to get weighed? (In the lower mainland or Vancouver area)

Most likely still going to happen, just have not done as much prep this year.

If you want to go to Nanaimo, there is a great one there. Otherwise, North Shore Weigh-off is usually at the end of Oct.

Just have not had time this year so the North Shore Weigh-off will have to skip 2006 unfortunately.

I'll start planning now for 2007....sorry folks just to damn busy with business (I guess a good thing for me)

Contact Craig (Island orange) & he'll be able to fill you in on any weigh offs in BC. He's been one of the top growers in that region for years.

Port Alberni, BC, Canada

The biggest and best weigh-off in BC is held in Nanaimo in October. Contact persons for that one are Dave and Leslie Pley. The PNWGPG also have a weigh-off in Snohomish and Seattle also in October. Dates will be confirmed later this season.
