Time for us B.C. growers to let some 2010 plans.
Cerious to know what seeds we've got hitten' the dirt.

I'm planning to plant a 1225.5 Jutras 03, and us a 1579 Revier 09 as a back up.

Oh, and did anyone else face the flames this year? I know Okanagan, lillooet, and barriere get hit the hardest, but did any other place get hit?

After the Olympics, the Canucks face the Flames on March 14th in Vancouver.

A couple oldies here, 845 Bobier and the 842 Eaton for me. The 1306 Jutras will round out my usual 3 plant garden. If any of these 3 fail to germinate the 1467 Perham is just itching to prove it should be in that top 3!

As for fires, Pemberton had it's fair share last year. The valley was flooded with smoke for about 6 weeks. The craziest thing was in the midst of the biggest fire in the valley last year, Blackomb Mt. caught on fire one afternoon and you wouldn't believe how fast the helicopters vacated this town headed for Whistler, looked like a Vietnam War movie. I guess it's true, it's not what you know it's who!

594 Rainer 08 SQ, 770 Rainer 08, 1156 Hunt08(a year late but still a great seed), 1330.5 Johnston-Butler09, 811.6 Vincent-McGill 08, 1536.5 VanKooten 08.
Hard to pick those six and let the other ones sit for another year.

Putting in a 1050 Hebb (1309 Hebb x 1385 Jutras). Looking for an orange and shiny cross if anyone has some lying around collecting dust.

As usual, whatever good ol' dad gives me. I leave the decision in his trustworthy hands. With over 600 cm of snow on Mt. Washington, pumpkin growing isn't quite on the front of the to-do list yet, though.

Going to give it a go again this year after a year MIA. Looking forward to connecting with old pals and sharing the kinship, knowledge and plain old silly fun again with everyone :0)
