Hello, I'm wondering if there's anyone in the Edmonton area that might have started an extra plant that you would be willing to give up. I planted two seeds (and in the past I've always gone 2 for 2) but neither sprouted. Now its getting a little late to start another and get much of a pumpkin so I'm hoping someone may have started a spare giant pumpkin that they are willing to let go of. I'm not too fussy on the genetics of the seed at this point - I really just want to end up with a 200lb-300lb Jack-o-lantern...

It's still not to late to start new seeds. I have started seeds in the first week of June a number of years back and still reached 300lbs. I don't have any plants for you, but I can get some seeds in the mail right away. E-mail me if you are interested. a.makarchuk@telus.net Alan

Thanks, I've restarted but was hoping for the couple weeks of head start a plant would give me. Still nothing sprouted though - will officially start to panic if I don't see anything by mid week...
