First off, thanks to everyone for their support of the OVGPG everyone who has donated heir time and effort to the club. Special thanks to all of the seed donors, and Ken and John and bigpumpkins.com for hosting the auction. Thank you to everyone who has come and supported our club through these auctions in the past. Without your support our organization would not be able to host two seminars, The Annual Summer Tour and Picnic, and provide informative newsletters and seed sale to all of its members while hosting one of the best weighoffs around. This year we will have a one-night auction, with 18 lots.
The lots will be auctioned in the following order starting 8:00 pm EST Saturday December 17 in the bigpumpkins.com chat room

Jutras 1225- Jutras 846 (1 multiple) 17. Rose 1370 (3 multiples) 18. Calai 846- Calai 869.5 (3 multiples)
Bidding format: The format will be as follows: Many lots are offered in multiples, as indicated. Each lot with multiples will have the high bidder take the first lot and have the option to take as many of the lower lots as they choose. The second high bidder will then be responsible for the next lot, and have the option of taking as many remaining lots as they desire. The third high bidder will be responsible for the purchase of the final lot if the two higher bidders do not opt to take it. In example Lot one is sold to Brett Hester for $325 Brett takes one lot the second highest bid was $320 by Joel Holland Joel buys the second set, and opts to take the remaining set as well end result is that Brett pays $325 for a 582 and 822 Joel pays $640 for two each 582 and 822
if Joel hadn't taken both lots, the third high bid of $150 by Jack LaRue would have given Jack a purchase of a 582 and 822 for $150
Thanks again, and send me any questions that come up

How many watermelon seeds are in the 268 Bright package? Is there only one 268 seed in each lot or are there 2 or 3 in each one. They are a lot harder to germinate than pumpkins. It sometimes takes 2 or 3 seeds just to get one to germinate. Thanks.

The rules for the PGVG auction on this Friday and Saturday night are exactly the same as the OVGPG and other auctions. If you are one of the bidders in the final stages of the seed you could potentially be a winner of a mulitple lot seed. If you do not intend to purchase please do not bid where you are not comfortable paying.
Thanks, Jim Sherwood

To answer the question on the melon seeds, there is only one seed per packet, sorry. I guess you can take this into consideration when bidding.
thanks for the interest
