We have some very good seeds and a special raffle for 2 pumpkin quilts (photo will follow) They are like a wall quilt to hang.They are very cool and are a little different every time she makes them.So for every ticket bought I will add a ticket to the special raffle.

Marty, lot # 34 i believe should read 840 Parks ( 723 Bobier x 1367 Rose ) thats how it is listed on AGGC

Both seeds I have say 723 x 1370. I think the GVGO has it listed this way also. Thanks Marty, Maybe the AGGC is wrong.

This Weigh-off is a family type and local. We had 15 pumpkin entries last year , 3 watermelons and 1 long gourd. We had a 4-H group,kid group and adult group. If it get bigger that would be great but if it does not its still a good time for the kids.They get there picture taken with the pumpkin they get and they get that picture to keep. Everyone that entered something got a ribbon and at least $5 back. First place was $40 in each group with a nice ribbon and certificate.We only had 2 adult entries so this is a young group I am working with. I get the word out all fall and winter trying to get interest in growing. Everything we get on this raffle goes to this group of young people as prizes and information papers.We had a terrible Year last year with the weather and people still want to try again, so once again I am looking for your help and do what you can and enter this raffle if you can.They really light up when they get there seeds to grow in the spring.
I hope maybe we can come up with another way to do this next year and will have a meeting with the growers on what they want to do to help raise money for there weigh-off.
