PayPal is, in my opinion, the easiest and fastest way for international growers to finish a purchase and good for both sides. More and more clubs are trying to make it easier for these growers, this is remarkable and shows foresight. PayPal is excluded at the next SOGPG auction, that's ok – it’s up to the club. Wilfried

Your comments with regard to the next SOGPG auction are duly noted. Perhaps Paypal is an option our group will explore in the near future.
In the meantime, if you see a particular seed you are interested in, maybe you can make arrangements for someone here in the states to make payment for you and reimburse them?
Just throwing it out there for the benefit of European and other growers. I know that money orders are pretty well non-existent in other parts of the world and we do not like to see anyone excluded.

We at the GVGO believe that using paypal has boosted our membership by at least 25% and we set an all time high fundraising with our raffle this year and all but two of our super seed packs were purchased using paypal as well. Does it work, does it improve sales - You bet it does and its not hard to set up.

I have had a paypal account for a very long time, it is very easy to set up and use. It handles foreign exchange as well, and the fees are reasonable. If it sits idle it doesn't cost either. Just make sure if you are starting 'from scratch' to start setup a month ahead of when you will need it to get everything verified and set up the way you need.

Yes also for me Paypal the best possibility the Seeds is to be paid, because surer and faster one cannot pay from Germany. Also the auction of the SOGPG thereby still lasts interesting for me there the Seeds then still on time for the seasonal start with me would be. If I must send, nevertheless, only the money by post after overseas and must wait then to the Seeds then with myself are it is with certainty already too late then for the way there I already calculate approx. 7-14 meets and the Seeds then need also between 7 - 28 days to with me arrive there I already on the 13th of April starts and from the 20th of March to the 13th of April only 24 days lie, hence, this auction is already too late for me even if some Seeds would be still interesting.
Greetings Horst

PayPal cost us very little compared to the benefits to our patrons and us. I would recommend PP to all clubs/auctions.

Paypal is pretty much a godsend for European growers. I`m in the GVGO and Paypal makes it so much easier to pay club dues / buy raffle tickets etc. Personally, I have decided not to bid at some auctions because they do not accept it. It would would boost club revenue in the states and Canada I`m pretty sure

Wayne,
I'm not sure how much, if any, PayPal has changed over the past few years. When I opened my about five years ago, I was able to pay for things and also intake funds, but I believe it was only $1000 or $2000 limit total. To be able to intake unlimited funds, I had to verify my account. I put a credit card on file with PayPal to verify my account. Now I can intake funds with no limit. I hope this helps.
