Couldnt find enough coins in the cushions to afford the 1810 at the GPC auction? Here's your opportunity to level the playing field and score an 1810. The SCGA is hosting an 1810 seed giveaway. Read the details here:
http://www.stcroixgrowers.org/Seeds.html
We've been informed this is the last chance growers will have to obtain an 1810, due to its low seed count. Thank you for supporting our organization and good luck to those who participate!

Nice idea -- figure it gives everyone a chance at the seed and even those who do not get it can feel good about giving a small donation to the club.

I enlarged the photo of the 1810.5 seed and it almost looks like an empty one? Must just be the angle of the camera.
Either way, great idea! I think I'll give a donation.

On behalf of Chris as well as the SCGA, I assure you the seed we are giving away is, to the best of our observational capacities, a viable seed.
As JDFan alluded to above, our intent is to give everyone a chance at the 1810.
As a friendly reminder, Chris's 1468 seed is included in the SCGA Premier Collection, Lot B. The 1468 is the reverse cross of the 1810 (1421 Stelts x 1161 Rodonis).

Cruising the site, how much does it cost for membership? It doesn't say that offhand... ?

The 1810 seed in auction as well as the "giveaway" are auction quality seeds. Both have the stamp of approval of Matt DeBacco.
