Well seeing as its xmas time and we here at the GVGO like to keep all of our members happy and like to get feedback sent in on how we run things I have the following announcement regarding the raffle.
We are gettting more comments back that many members liked the old way we ran our raffle. So here is what I'm going to do, I went through my seed vault this morning and will put up 40 top seeds that will go to growers who do not win one of the 28 lots we have up for grabs in our raffle now. If you win a lot then you will not be eligible for these seeds as you have already won a bunch of great seeds.
I'm not going to announce the 40 seeds - you will have to take my word on it but some will shock you! Each person that bought tickets will have their name thrown in the hat and can only win once. I hope this will spur on some of you to get some tickets this year in support of the club as now there will be a total of at least 68 prizes.

We are going to further discuss this as an executive as we take all feedback seriously and do appreciate it very much.
We here at the GVGO wish all of you a great holiday season!

Question, If you win on the regular GVGO raffle you win the whole lot or just one of the seeds within the lot? Thanks

That is awesome Kirk, thank you so much for coming up with an excellent compromise! We love you Canadians, always using your noggins, lol! Is there any way you could run our government for us too?

Kirk, when you get time I sent an e-mail to you. Just checking to see if it went through. I've had trouble in the past getting my e-mails to go through to Canada.
Thank you, Mark G.

There are so many seed raffles & fundraisers going on that it has made it difficult for a grower to decide which ones they can support. We will likely go back to our original format for next year's GVGO fundraiser, as it has been successful in the past.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from all of us here at the GVGO Raffle headquarters.
Cheers, Jane & Phil
