When I read the description it is a seed from a 2009 that someone selfed. It stated the seeds come from a pumpkin that weighed around 1000 pounds. Always read between the lines on ebay. lol

Question to the readers between lines on ebay :

Does that mean its open pollinated ?

for 1 thing that pumpkin is not the 2009. The 2009 leaked and went away. The pic of the pumpkin on the show is of the 1872 Wallace not the 2009.If peter pumpkin eater paid $$$ for the 2009 seed then he is free to do whatever the hell he wants with HIS seed. Do i agree with it..nope. But it is what it is.....
