hi everyone,
here are the rules for the 2015 make-a-wish seed contest...
1. fruit must be grown from the 1104 don young 2014 (2009 wallace x sibb).
2. seeds must either be purchased through me, bought at seed auctions here on bp.com, or received from don himself.
3. each grower wishing to enter the contest MUST register the seed with me at zepfan1967@gmail.com, this is only way we can know who all is growing the seed and will automatically make that grower eligible for the grand prize for largest grown off the 2015 make a wish seed. i will need real name, bp name, mailing address, phone number, and how you obtained the seed(auction, don, or from me) included in the seed registration email please.
4.all eligible fruits must be weighed at a gpc event or, weighed at a non gpc site and have picture of fruit on scale and weight, with witnesses if necessary.
5.i will ask for a percentage of the seeds from the top 10 fruit in the contest, and of course , the winning fruit seeds will be the 2015 make a wish seed and sold so we can do this again next year.

rules may be ammended before contest deadline which i will announce soon.

we are going to ammend rule #4, all fruits must be entered at a gpc sanctioned weigh off to be eligible for the grand prize.

Gary, Question..I have some 1104 Youngs that were given to me by Don. If I give that seed to someone to grow, can they register it with you and be eligible for the contest?

yes lee, all 1104's are eligible for the contest, i would like for all the growers to email me and let me know that they are growing it.thanks
