Greetings everyone. Like most club secretaries, I have been busy lining up seed donations for our BP.com auction and I'd like to put together one or more squash lots at the request of several growers. It is also the desire of our club to generate more interest in giant squash growing among those who wish to enter our weigh-off. Over the past few years, we have not had any squash entered and the prizes have gone unawarded.
Sadly, I do not have contact information for any squash growers and ask those of you who do to forward this post on to them and, if they are agreeable to making a seed donation, have them contact me at jgerchy@columbus.rr.com or send me their contact information if they have no objection. I would, of course, love to have the Holub world record. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Joe Jutras is a great start for giant squash. His email is on the SNGPG website, board of directors page.

Thanks Steve. I e-mailed and bubbled Joe for pumpkin seeds but had no idea he was into squash.

Joe, I'd be happy to donate some of my 1160 Sherwood squash seeds from 2015 if you are interested. Send me an email if interested to: fishroadfarm@canby.com

Sadly Jim, I have several left which were given by Joe Jutras and Jim Hudson. I'm afraid there's not much interest locally in growing them, but there are a couple of growers who promised to grow and weigh them at our weigh-off. Your offer is much appreciated.
