I have a question concerning last nights auction. I placed and won a lot that had 2 sets . Did my bid cover both sets or was it per set? It was on the 272 Neptune melons. Just trying to figure out if I sent enough money or not. I'm such a block head sometimes. Lol

usually a bid is per set.Thought I would post this for the newbie. So you would double your bid.

Then I'm afraid I owe more money if that is correct. Any way to get the contact info again?

Go into the auction schedule and scroll down to the bottom. Then click details and everything is there.

Did anyone else bid on the lot? If so, then you would have been given the option to purchase both sets at your bid price. Had you opted for only one set, then the next highest bidder would receive the second set at his/her bid price. Had no one else bid on the lot, you still would have the option to purchase only one set or both.

I won the bid against one other bidder. I was asked if I wanted 1 set or both. I took both. I assumed my bid covered both. I just want to make sure I'm not getting over on anyone.

You can take both lots is you want to as the top bidder. If you elected to take both lots then you owe double the amount of your winning bid.

The amount you are bidding is for ONE set.
If you win, you get the option of paying your bid amount for EACH set that you decide to take.
If you take 2 sets you owe the amount you bid times 2.
After you state how many you want, if there are any left the second highest bidder is obligated to take at least one set at his bid amount, but has the option to take more if they are still available by paying the amount he bid for EACH remaining set that he wants.
This continues down the list of bidders until all sets are accounted for.
