A lot of discussion about non paying bidders. What about clubs that take their time sending the seeds? It has been a month- and still no seed. I contacted them two weeks ago- still no seed. Bidders need to pay promptly. Clubs who want to conduct an auction need to either have people who will get the seeds out promptly or not hold an auction. I have heard it said that auctions are not the way to get your seeds- it is a way to support a club. That may be true for those folks who have established relationships with a lot of other growers but there are a lot of newer growers out there that get the seeds they want to grow from the auctions. Bidders get your money in and clubs send the seeds out.

Agree. A month is too long to wait, especially with planting season so close.

We worked out the situation. I apologize for the delay. I understand the seeds were paid for. My wife and I had our second child 6 days after the auction. Some things were more important at that time.
