I donated and then won back a 1625.5 Gantner in this summers ZacHeart tomato contest. I feel that there should be some pumpkin growers interested in this seed.
So, I am going to put this seed up for auction. All proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association...after all this seed was part of the ZacHeart tomato fun. Bidding will end at 11:59pm Saturday Oct 3,2018.

Have fun, remember your bids not only win a valuable seed, but also helps those with heart issues.

I received the 1625.5 Gantner back from Rick Spaziani today in the mail. You should see how well he packaged it. This seed is covering some miles..from club auction to my possession, to Oregon and then back again. A little over two days left to bid. Since I think I will grow only tomatoes next year..I might dig into my seed collection and toss in a bonus seed.

Hmmm, TruckinPunkin is high bidder...I remember what seed he was looking for on 8/3/2018....maybe that bonus would be appreciated?

Wow. Truckin Punkin and SteveM are a couple of class acts. Truckin could have started the auction at 20 but took the high road. SteveM could have outbid him by just a couple of dollars, but took the road. Way to go guys.

I had forgotten all about that, bnot. We’re definitely going to grow some long gourds again. It’s a lot of fun to watch them grow. We took 2nd place at Altoona our first year, now we have the unfinished business of beating the Checkon’s for first place.

I’ll bid $160 on that 1625.5 Gantner. It has the status of a 935 Lloyd, 567.5 Mombert type of seed in my book. I think it will be remembered as a game changer for a long time.
