You can make a pretty darn good tea in a fifty five gallon barrel using: Into a synthetic feed bag: Half a bucket full of fresh cow manure or about twenty five pounds of wet manure. You may use any fresh manure. Add half a shovel full of your own garden soil ann about the same of your own compost. The closer to being finished compost the better. If you have it add one cup of dry animal feed or anything that has a trace element content. Add a cup full of fish, black strap molasses and kelp, to your brands suggestion, for fifty gallons. Stir the barrel or dunk the huge tea bag up and down twice a day for a week. This will yeild an anaerobic tea that is quite dark. It is important that you water the dark down to a fluid that looks like tea you would drink. Watered down there will be no burning even if applied twice a week in a foliar and drenching application.

I use a $79.00 sump pump from Lowe's or any hardware store and a fifty foot hose, with thumb over hose end, to foliar drench, once a week. My plant is in excellent condition and good medium dark green leaves. Twice a week would not be to much if your leaf color is light green and of medium height. I water down about thirty five gallons and put it all, on my approximately one thousand square foot patch.

A single barrel with this content may be refilled, with water. Your tea bag will continue to darken your total within a day or two throughout the rest, of the season. Keep dunking and stirring it daily. If your plants show that they can use it you may make the cup full additives. This procedure will reduce your nitrogen somewhat which may be better, for the total as you progress, into the rest of the season.

This tea is, in addition to, any fish, kelp and molasses applied, to your determined plant need.

MORE: There are as many ways, to make tea, as there are growers. This is simply an easy way to arrive at a safe tea that most can make easily.

MORE: I alternate between anaeorbic tea and aerobic teas. Making good quality aerobic tea has it's own following, which I largely agree is a better way, to go. Making aerobic teas is however a skill that requires a higher degree of learning experience and more equipment to achieve a finished aerobic tea.

My present thinking based, on all the opinions, I can locate is that aerobic teas properly made need only be applied every two or three weeks.
