I did a search and got several ideas but wanted to get a thread going on this topic again. It seems alot of the commonly accepted ideas about tea have changed in the last couple of years and what to see what peoples current recipes are. Also is there any benefit to applying finished tea to the patch before the pumpkin is there? Or ahead of the pumpkin to get the soil going? Lets hear it.

My understanding is that the tea feeds good bacteria to the soil. Healthy soil is the "name of the game". IMHO....soil temperatures needs to be above 60° for good bacterial activity. My soil temps were about 55° last week.

Go to North Country Organics for aerobic tea 101. It is one of the best tuturals out there.
