Croley,
I do not dilute my compost tea. I used it last year as a soil drench and the plants did fine. This year, I will also being doing foliar spraying (in the evening) with a backpack sprayer.
The only reason I can think of that you may want to dilute it, is that you don't have enough for all of your plants and need more liquid to share the wealth.

Due to the highly electro-magnetic properties of the all natural concentrated secrete ingredient of our "booster" tea I spray it with a hose end sprayer in a 5 to 1 dilution. Stands the hair on your arms up if it gets mixed to "hot", only use that recipe four times a season. The standard weekly tea recipe goes on straight.

Thanks, I will not dilute unless I need to share the wealth..So, I reckon this brew should get hot??? This is all new to me and I guess it will trial and error, but the plants still win with extra nutients...Croley
