i am a beginner at making compost.. and wonder what compost is composed of? Does anyone out there have a easy recipe for compost tea? How do you use it?

get yourself a compost tea brewer,, they come in 5 gal jug,s,,,, thats the smaller verzion. go to soilsoup.com click on where it says soilsoup in white letters,,,

worms

leaves, shredded newspaper, straw, grassclippings, kitchen scraps - but nothing that is meat or dairy, eggshells, coffee grounds, tea bags, -------if it is organica plant matter it can go it, avoid weed seeds

Also google "compost calculator" to get a site that will help you to balance your carbon to nitrogen inputs.

If you go to big pumpkin.com lookup the patch master He can help you with the compost tea .And the brewer.He has picture and all.It is really great He posted the article last year .
