Can someone tell me how soon you can apply compost tea? First week after transplanting into patch or when the vine begins to run?

Mz. Bend, applying compost tea to the soil, is "from my lil bit of knowledge" a good thing!!!! Brewed properly, of course!!! I also hesitate to start spraying anything on any of my plants, until they are established, which is a growers opinion, I guess!!! Prbly not a lot of help, eh? Peace, Wayne
PS...Mizz Bend, call Mr. SandBaggus, and Bend his ear!!! Lil Jimmie Wallace, is a master brewer!!!

Wayne, I agree not to spray the leaves until they are established. Just wondered about a soil drench, guess it couldnt hurt.

Other stuff being....fish and seaweed.....Humic....would be other stuff....Like for my house plantZ...I would toss in 1 OZ of seaweed and fish..at the end of the brew, then go water the plantZ....sometimeZ humic acid at the end....

No secret stuff .....thatZ a separate drench in itself....

Wiz,

We've found that fish hydrolysate lowers the dissolved oxygen levels in a finished tea too rapidly, and is best used as a separate application. I do know of applicators that are using seaweed and humic as additions to their tea when spraying.

Hope that helps!

I'd either add it at the beginning of the brew or apply it as a separate application.

It's probably the best fungal food out there that I've come across that strictly feeds fungi and not bacteria (usually bacteria is more efficient and consuming the food resources we use in fertilizers.)
