1) what is the best interval for applying tea? Once a week, once every 2 weeks maybe? I purchase my tea bags and food packets so I don't want to waste them. 2) Can the tea be sprayed in full sun? I always treated it like the chemical sprays but I was wondering if daytime spraying would be okay considering the nature of compost tea. Thanks!

Orangeneck,
Sorry for never replying to this. I think interval schedule varies, I know some growers are applying 1-2X per week. Others maybe only 1X/month.
You can spray in full sun. The bigger issue is heat and droplet size. You want larger droplets, sort of a rainbow effect when spraying (not high pressure directly at leaf surface) and if it's too hot to comfortably apply then it's probably too hot to be spraying. I prefer morning applications so the tea has time to dry before night.
Hope that helps, Tad
