Many growers who helped me out when I started growing pumpkins again in 2004 after a break from many years no longer grow. Others still do. Who was it that inspired you to grow or helped you out with seeds and advice when you just started? Here are some names that inspired me to grow and gave me my first seeds. Bryan Dueck (Canadian record 2003), Eddy Z (Alberta), Jake van Kooten (BC), Dave Pitura (Ontario), Phil & Jane Hunt (Ontario), Pierre Slusarek (Quebec) and Steve Zuhlke (Michigan). Thanks to Phil & Jane I grew a new ER (lasted only 2 weeks, but still...), and thanks to Dave I grew a WR squash. Thanks to Jake I won the first ever Dutch weigh-off.

What got me started was seeing the giants on television back before the internet and finding out about Howard Dills seeds. Then it was discovering Don Langevin's books.

So many growers have sheared their knowledge and seeds with me over the years. (too many to list) I am grateful to all of them. When I first started growing in 2,007. Matt DeBacco was the first to help me, then came Brooks Bosworth and Steve Jepsen.
