My blossom ends on all my kind are turning brown. Some are staying firm but today I found 2 kins with soft areas on the blossoms. I scraped away half of the blossom on them both to remove all the soft areas. Anyone had this happen and will I be better off removing the entire blossom? I posted a pic on diary today.

How heavy were they when you removed it?

Cut it off down to clean tissue…a little peroxide, sulphur and a fan…she’ll be fine.

Quick follow up on the pumpkins. We cut all the soft blossoms off and scraped any additional off then dusted with captan and diatomaceous earth. It worked great. We got all the pumpkins to scales and earned a jacket
