What a sad day, Her Majesty Queen Elizebeth has died at the grand old age of 96.
She reigned for 70 years after becoming Queen at only 26.
Please have a prayer for our wonderful monarch who has guided us through good and difficult times.

She sure was a sign of stability when times got tough and was well respected by most. Stayed and helped in the WWII war effort which said a lot about her. Could not be easy to be in the public eye like she was.

It seems that she lived a sacrificial life for her country and its people. In a world of self-centered egotistical leaders, she was an exception. Quiet, humble and firm when needed. God rest her soul. I would like to meet her when I get to Heaven.

I listened to a radio broadcast she did circa WW2 (at quite a young age). Listening to it, I could tell she was a special person.

Ian - I have great respect for the people of your country - large crowds in attendance to say good bye to the queen in a respectful and caring manner. Amazing to see people wait in line for 30 hours to send Her Majesty off to her final resting place.
