So sorry for your loss. I hate to say it but I know that feeling all to well. We work so hard 12 months out of the year and to come down to rot days before competition does hurt.
Good luck on the other fruit for next weekend!

Thats very nice of you Chris, thanks for your condolences. It could be much worse! I am disappointed I couldn't keep her around another week, if only to weigh a damaged pumpkin. I was curious how much it would weigh, but to be honest I wasn't really expecting over 1000 pounds back in june. Hoping to smash that expectation next week. Good luck to everyone
