Just wondering if watermelons can be grown back to back as easily as pumpkins. I know they don't typically take a xmas tree pattern, so would i be better to keep them completely apart?

They'll grow fine back to back. Just keep about 4 ft between the base of the plants & don't let them grow back on each other. Good luck.
