We are thinking about expanding our weigh off next year at Jareds to include tomatoes, watermelons, gourds and cantelopes. Is there different registration for this if we go more veggies? or is it all included within the $300 registration. We will be a $300 site next year. Please Advise

I know that the GPC reports the winners of the other veggies, but does the GPC even have awards for LG, Tomatoes, Cantaloupe or watermelons? I've been at all the International Seminars & have never seen anyone rewarded for winning any of these other categories. I know they don't supply ribbons at the regional weigh offs like they do for the pumpkins & squash. Just wondering.

we do not at present have any gpc awards for items other than pumpkins and grn squash.
these other giant fruit and veggies although listed on our gpc results area, are only presented awards as each individual site sees fit.

Thanks for making it clear on the awards, I always wondered that. Why isn't Giant sumflowers included, along with marrow, and the biggest weed,(just kidding about the weed.
