Just to let you know we took 1st and 2nd again at the Iowa State fair. The first place melon weighed in at 168.5 pound breaking my personal best by 1/2 pound.The second place melon weighed 126.6 pounds.There were 9 watermelon entered. I also won the jumbo muskmelon division.It was a very hot day but loads of fun.

Nice. I put a melon in local county fair once, and the person that watched over the exhibit said it was most thumped melon in Minnesota.
