Ok being I have never grown watermellon for weight,How many sq ft do u allow for the giant watermellon?

and when is a good date to have em pollinated by?

I would say 300 sq would do it and pollinate before July 4th. Some people grow huge plants and have good luck . My 2 biggest were on smaller plants. My 2 cents worth. My plants this year will be small and will work hard on them. Big things in 2008!
