I was looking for large watermelon seeds and couldnt find any seeds at all. Even at Homedepot or lowes. The only thing I found was 2 charleston grey plants from Bonnie Plants CO. Dose aony one have any luck growing this variety and growing these BIG? Im in Az so the heat is finally on my side....I think...right? Does anyone have any large watermelon seeds left over that you could send to me?

Carolina Cross takes about 100 days from germination to harvest. Do you have that kind of time before cold weather hits?

I grew a Charleston Grey season before last and it had a melon on it that went about 40 pounds and was very tastey.
That might be your best bet to get something going quickly if they haven't been growing too long in small containers and become stunted.

It must be nice to be able to grow in the Winter. Some of our growing community in the north sometimes have trouble doing well in a cool Summer.
