I have been away for the last two weeks training for an upcoming trip to Iraq, My Dad has been tending to my patch for me. The 213 is now at 49in girth and 35in length. The OTT chart says 180lbs and gaining 4lbs a day.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey Cliff,

I know it's VERY early to be asking but is there any chance of me getting a couple of seed sometime after you have cut this world record pace Carolina Cross you are growing? Where will you enter this monster? I would love to see a picture of it.

Thanks,

Dennis

Day 38 update 50.25in and doing well, We have had 4in of rain the last 2 days which may slow it down a little. My other 213 plant has a good looking melon, I placed it on a fiber board today and draped it in a tent. BTW I leave for for Iraq in Dec. I hope to be able to grow a melon over there, If not at least pass out seeds.
