I bought some and didnt realise they needed another type of melon to be pollinated by to make them seedless. IF they are pollinated by their own hybrid do they abort or just have seeds in the melons?

These seedless melons are tetraploid hybrids (multiple sets of genes)and make no usable pollen. They will set no melons without a pollinator.
