HI there, rookie year for Giant Pumpkins, I have a spot in my patch for a giant Watermelon, just don;t know where to get seeds for teh big boys, how bug do they get, and is it to late to plant for this year??

From what I have read on here they take around 90 days to mature, so I would have to say it may be too late to start.
You can get free seeds usually in the fall from many growers in this forum.

i think its a little longer for a fully grown cc melon
. 45 for the plant , 70 for the fruit.

I would be inclined to agree with Chris. The melon could even grow more than 70 days too I think, IF you have the time available...
