Do watermelon get them. I really don't want to use systemics on watermelon since I want to eat it at the end of the season if I grow one next year.

I haven't seen that either, but then again I had never seen stump rot and foaming stump until this year either.

I'll try to post a pic. I have one that looks really bad. Even with a fan on it, just can't stop it. Shame its got a nice melon on it. I just don't see it making all the way. Smokey may be right about the size. The only two I haven't had problems with are two that look normal size. The others are huge. Have had problems with all but two.
