Is 107 OTT 42.5 lbs good for this type its still making pretty good gains around a pound a day seems . I didnt know what type to grow for size. This is my first year melon growing or growing at all really .Thanks in advance Todd

punkinator . thats not bad growth for a black diamond as long as the melon is not more than about 19- 20 days old. and are you useing the pkn. chart or watermelon chart? also they will not get near as big as the carolina cross melons

Great thanks its big for my first time I figure . Ill probably try a carolina cross next year . I think its closer to 30 days

116 ott today 52.3 Id say its about done plant looks great though still lots of new growth .Keep finding cull though . Its been fun to grow Im pretty sure I will try a CC next year.
