I don't know much about this, but the 193 white is about 4 feet long now and I have not seen any obvious, stalling, stress or injury. Don't see any node rooting yet.

Well Its a high tunnel, no heat but was up to 110 inside the other day and was 27 inside last night.I have another small pop up over it when they go out with a heat lamp at night to keep them warm.

Started 8 seeds from my 64 Lber grown last year ( 155.5 Finders x self ) and after 48 hours 7 of 8 have broken soil (4 were up in 24 hours and 3 more this AM.)

I liked the 193. As I said, it was very aggressive, and I hope that is really a trait, and not just how it behaved that year.

I had 3 of my 193 germinate over night. It took an extra day, but I am glad it popped for me.

0 x 260 Kent (out of 2) Not sure why this one didn't pop

That's enough plants for myself and for Carol. I shouldn't give her such good genetics since she kicked my butt last year, but what can I say.

Melody my wife is growing my 131 from 2010
Megan our daughter is growing my 50 from 2010
The 50 was 103 days old on a spent plant when picked.

Have now had success germinating 2 239's...2 230 Kent's and a 224 Mudd... looking for the two best to make the final cut!! As a newbie I gotta say, I am pretty excited about growing a giant melon!!
