Seems everything is getting abbreviated these days, lol. All the pumpkins growers seem to be wanting to call their pumpkins kins.So I was thinking,why not start referring to our watermelons as lons. I mean I think it makes just as much sense as kins. Just a thought.

So here is what we need to do. We'll find a location in the French Quarter in New Orleans for a new weigh off site. We'll put up a sign "big pink melons show today"; admission only $10. We'll have so many men come in to see the big pink melons that we can raise the prize money way up next year.
