I am currently growing black diamond at another location ( for eating purposes ) and this melon is really exploding in size and currently outdoing my CC( which I'm sure will catch up in the later stages ) but has anyone every grown this melon for competition?

You might get one to go 100 pounds if you are lucky. You need a melon that will grow well over 200 pounds to be competitive in current times. CC is the ONLY melon that has ever grown over 200 pounds as far as I know.
