i am hoping to pollinate tomorrow or the next day, should i cover up both male and and female flowers or just the female the night before they bloom? also how many males should i use per female? and what is the best way to know how the pollination took? thank u for your time and advice

Some take the males in the house the night before,You should bag the males & females for a legitimate cross.The blossom end (stigma) on the female will have a translucent look to it usually about 9 am in this heat. When you rub the male on the female you can see the pollen rub off & the stigma will have a glow to it.You have to use fresh flowers(male)not ones that opened the day before.Follow them down the vine the old ones till find the unopened flower it should open the next day.Shade your fruit asap this sun will scorch the skin on these infants.I shade mine as soon as I find them.
