I think I have a 300 lber going,at the pace its going,if the weather continues likes its been all summer.I should have it in the bag. October 12th my OTT should be 206 & if it gos 50% heavy,I'm In !!!!LOL!!

I surrender to you this year Mark. My white flag is out. Mine will have to keep growing and go 55% heavy to reach 308 and a new world record by the Allardt weigh-off. But I swear I am going to get you next year. lol

200 onces maybe!I dont BS on weights its not the way I play.I have 1 about 150 & the twins maybe 130- 135.I will be lucky to be in the top ten this year.The Kins have my full attention.Well now thats KIN singular.

I had one on pace for a state record but we are having a cold snap low 70's for high's and mid 50's for low's I'll be lucky to break 200 this year

Mice ate clear through the vines of my two fastest growing. Both were near 4lbs per day 1ft from the mellons.

well my grafted melon is doing a blistering pace of 1 lb a day. i should hit that 300+ lbs by xmas ! look out record as long as the snow stays away !

I got this idea from Chris he told me he thought if his grafted Melon kept going & went 50% heavy he could hit 300.LOL! Gotta Keep it fun! Thats what growings all about.I'm talking to a friend we may take my 875 lb kin(Yukon) & place a stick of dynamite under it & vaporize it.You might be a redneck if you blow up kins with dynamite.lol.If we do I will put it on YouTube.This wont be happening on my property.Not while Jackson (1161) is still growing & the police station is 1 block away.LOL!Sorry Kids Gramps Blew up the Kin.

I lost a melon to mice, but ended up replacing it right on the same boards and cover with a nice melon that is trying hard to give me something back. Luckily it wasn't my best melon.

The funny thing about my garden this year, is each of the melons are absolutely perfectly shaped. I hope that pays off for me.

All my melon plants are done, sudden wilt.One watermelon was gaining 8 a day then the plant was totally flagged.been sitting out there and took it to the fair and still won first place and third place.So clean up will begin. What could of been.
