i have been to the patch. the smallest one is taping 240 lbs. pretty sure the state record will be broke. maybe more than once

you will see the 252 neptune a lot the next 10 days it has produced several large melons, the new ohio record should come off the neptune252. the 285 edwards crossed with 252 neptune is coming to tennessee saturday. 117 days old still growing .5 lbs a day

Thats Ok just wondering,So glad he grew it.The twins are around 200 pds I will weigh them today on the vine,if I can find a couple gorillas to lift them,Then I will see if they loose weight on the vine or not for 1 week.I will grow the 252 Neptune next year.I may even graft it.The 252 will for sure get a spot in the melon cave.The sisters are excited.

I was told last saturday at a weigh off that Bill Neptune will likely break his record 3-4 times this year, I don't know Bill only met him once, but the person who told me knows him well! Maybe someone is blowing smoke up my butt, I hope not because I'd like to see some monsters come from Ohio, I've been told I can't grow em that big in Ohio, let's prove em wrong! Look at the Michigan growers!
