Watermelon growers can help ensure good quality data for BP watermelon information by pre-registering on BP before each GPC weigh-off entered. The menu item for pre-registration is near the top of the GPC Info Page on BP. Your information goes to the site data entry person who then only has to add your entry's official weight and OTT measurement prior to the BP posting. You will still do the regular paperwork at the weigh-off site but your pre-registration will greatly reduce the work for the site's data person. Pre-registration also enables you to be certain your entry information for BP is complete and correct. The people who follow watermelon genetics will also thank you for the good parent information you include. The 2012 BP weigh-off results for watermelons was more complete and accurate than any previous year. Growers can help BP greatly in the weigh-off reporting process by pre-registering. Please pre-register for each GPC weigh-off where you enter watermelons.

Todd, go to the GPC info page, click on register for a Weigh Off, fill in the blanks and click ok or save and then you will get a list of weigh offs and then make your selection. Then click ok or save or whatever you need to do there. You have just registered. Thats how I did it.

Thanks SteveAnn, but it just takes me back to the BP sign in page, and when I sign in, then it takes me to BP homepage, spent a hour on the phone with brother Dave, and even if I type in the ip address, it still takes me to the BP sign in page. I will try it tonight on home computer, with the wife's help.
