Just wondering what kind of daily ott measurements are average or good for melons? Have one that's 14 days and it's been averaging 6-8 ott per day. Sits at 81.3/4 on day 14.

I can only tell you that OTT inch gains will slow down gradually as a melon gains weight and gets older. One thing you need to keep in mind though is that for each inch in a young melon the weight gain is less than a pound. But for a very large melon each inch in OTT gains may represent as much as 3 or 4 pounds. Your 6-8 OTT inches per day is very good. If you can keep that rate up for a few weeks you will find yourself with a exceptional melon.
