Chris did you have some 242's with good shape. I grew one in 2012. Every melon that come on the vine had a small blossom. I finally gave up just picked one at random and let it grow. It ended up about 62 inch in girth at the front and the size of my fist at the blossom. The blossom was tucked under the melon. Anyway it was still 12 pounds heavy.

the 242 heavy canoe had a gooood shape, im going to try to retrieve it if chris wants me to from tn even if it was an open cross i think worst case scenario from the kent patch is it was a black diamond crossed into it then we have a semi dark striped long melon thats probably atleast still capable of 250ish minimun.

Jake, I have 3, 242 plants. 2 are long (one was the fair entry),
the 3rd is nice and fat. No bad shapes.

Spencer, you can have it if Freddie will give it to you, or you can split it in half with him if you want. Should be plenty of seeds in there. LOL

Good I bet that fat one is very heavy. Seams to be a 285 Edwards trait.
