2. squash does not taste as good.

4.squash vine bores don't like watermelon.

i plan on growing both watermelon and squash but do agree watermelon does taste better than squash

Sure, but usually even small pumpkins are bigger then the biggest watermelons, (I like the taste of watermelons better also).
