This is my first yr growing long gourds < And there doing great so far Iv dug up a 4x4 & 2 ft deep spots & built trellice for them ,,They are now aprox 10 ft & about to craw on top trellice! Question is how many of the side vines do i let grow there now growing plenty all over & maybe 3-4 ft so far ??? do I let bottom ones grow or only at top on top trellice let them grow ( side vines) ???

Yes iv read the articles & they are good , They say to remove excessive side vine growth , But i wonder does that mean all side vines or ? Some ? Probly not very easy to remove once they start growing at top leavel !! ?? Thanks Glenn

First side vines can stay, the side vines of the side vines can be removed, to abvoid all kind of leaves growing everywhere and spoileing energy of the plant. Make an exception when having more space grown in a cetain corner, if you have limited space.
